Autumn 2, Week 3 - Friday 22nd November 2024
This week we have begun our new science topic, Evolution and Inheritance. As part of today's lesson, the children created a physical timeline of the Earth's history. It took up quite a long distance on the field!
In maths this week, we have practised the formal method of multiplication, including multiplying decimals with up to 2 decimal places by whole numbers. We also did some problem solving using multiplication. A very successful week with multiplication - well done, Year 6.
Today was Onesie Upon a Time day and we finished the day with some lovely reading time with buddies. It was great to see how engaged all the children were - both Year 6 reading and Reception listening. They enjoyed sharing their stories both inside and outside Reception.
