We are delighted to share the latest updates from our dedicated Reading Ambassadors, who have been hard at work this term enhancing our English curriculum and fostering a love of reading amongst our children.

In an exciting development, the ambassadors have initiated a small acting club during lunchtimes. This engaging activity involves the ambassadors reading stories to the children, allowing them to immerse themselves in the narrative and then participate by acting it out. The joy on the children’s faces is evident, as captured in the photographs. This imaginative approach not only cultivates enthusiasm for literature but also promotes confidence and collaboration among peers.

In addition to the acting club, our Reading Ambassadors are also committed to reading weekly with a different children from KS1 and EYFS children in the library. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and they play a crucial role in making our library a vibrant space for learning. Moreover, they are leading our 'Words for Breakfast' mornings, ensuring that the library is well-prepared for daily use by our community.
