Welcome back to our new school year! The last three days have been fantastic and a real celebration of being back together. I have heard lots of lovely holiday stories ,places everyone visited from  Cedars park to much further afield. We spoke in assembly on Wednesday about feelings as we return.They were mixed from annoyed at having to get up early,excited to see my friends,nervous and also teary as I saw my friends. Hopefully all those are settled as everyone seems very settled in classes on my visits and it has been a very good week. 

This term as ever is a busy one ,but it will be certainly one that will be a celebration of learning,togetherness ,fun and happiness.

Dear God,
Thank you that you love us and care for us.
Thank you that whether we are small or big, young or old, you still consider us to be precious.

Thank you that you call us your treasure.
Thank you for being with me today on my first day .
