Another fun packed week in Reception. Our book this week was'Oliver's vegetables'. We looked at different vegetables and we begun learning the days of the week.

In English/Phonics we have been learning sounds 'g', 'o', 'c', 'k'. We have learned the tricky words 'go, to and no'.

In Maths we have continued to practice our number formation and matching quantity to numerals.

In Art we have been busy using lots of beads and sequins to create our own masterpieces. We certainly have some 'Picasso's' in Reception.

Today we went to church and celebrated the Mass of St Francis. We learnt a little about him and we had some reflection time where we prayed to St Francis. We were very lucky as we were given delicious biscuits to celebrate St Francis which were in the shape of animals and trees.

Stars this week were Tristan and Lena. Well done.
