This term in Year 2, we will be learning lots of exciting new things across the curriculum.

In English, we will be writing our own narratives based on The Lost Homework and creating our own instructions inspired by the book How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth. In Maths, we will be learning about fractions, multiplication and division, geometry, including the properties of 2D and 3D shapes, position, direction and symmetry, as well as telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes. In History, we will be learning about monarchs, coronations and William the Conqueror. In Science, we will be learning about plants, observing and describing how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants, and finding out how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy.
