RESIDENTIAL 2026

Sunday 14th June

The children have safely arrived at Marchant Hill. They had a good journey down to PGL.

They were able to get into their rooms just after 5pm and have settled in and unpacked their bags.

It is a lovely and warm evening for the children just in time for their first activity. The children will be doing a team building activity from 7-8pm

I will update again before they settle in for bed and again in the morning once they are all up and ready! I can imagine some very excited children tonight!

Monday 15th June

Good morning all, the children settled in well last night, lights were out at around 9:30pm and they are off to a busy start today. They are just having their full breakfast now then getting ready for their first activity of the day.

The children have got Jacob's ladder and Tunnel Trail this morning before lunch, followed by the Giant Swing and Sensory trail after lunch. After dinner they have got Laser Tag, before winding down for the evening. So far, so good, and they seem to be having a blast! All children are settled in and excited for the day ahead!

I will keep you updated with a post again this evening with any highlights from the day today!

A few updates from the day, they have had a fantastic day today, a lot of walking, climbing and a jammed packed day of activities. The food has been great with a large selection for the children. They are just getting going now with their final activity of the day...laser tag. They will have their showers, get ready for bed and wind down for the evening.

They have really enjoyed themselves today and all happy and excited for another action packed tomorrow.

I will keep you updated again tomorrow, all is well and they have had a fab time so far!

Tuesday 16th June

Morning all, an early morning for the children and they slept so well. Nearly all were asleep in bed by 10pm last night. The children slept really well and some had to be woken this morning! They are off onto another busy day today and the weather is set to hold for them!

They will be completing their Zip Wire challenge, Survivor challenge as well as problem solving tasks. This evening they will be doing their campfire session. The children have been absolutely fantastic, given everything a go and we are all so proud of them.

Again, I will keep you updated this evening with some highlights throughout the day!

Well....What can I say? The visit down to residential was excellent this afternoon. The children were in full swing of abseiling, going on zip wires as well as building a buggy board when I got there, which myself and Mrs Pisaturo got to experience. It was great fun and the children have just finished their campfire now. They have been exceptional this week and really have had a great time and definitely made memories to last a life time! Thank you for a lovely time this afternoon year 6!

I will update again in the morning, an Arbor email will be sent out to communicate when the children have departed and ETA for arrival.

Wednesday 17th June

WOW and just like that the children have reached their final day! They were up and eating breakfast for 7:15am this morning, all slept well again last night and lights were out by 10pm.

They will be packing their bits up now and then getting ready for their final activities of the day.

They will be completing buggy building, Giant swing and abseiling before having lunch. Once they have had their lunch they will have some downtime and are due to depart @2pm.

We will communicate with you via Arbor once the children have departed and what the ETA is for arrival, I am sure you will have some tired children tonight!
