WELCOME!

Welcome parents, this is your dedicated Cuffley Camp page where we will be sharing updates and information regarding the children's activities for their Cuffley Camp residential 

THEY HAVE ARRIVED!

The children have settled well into their tents and everyone is enjoying themselves so far! They had had their snack and completed their first task of Camouflage & Concealments. They are getting ready for lunch now!

Afternoon Activities 

The children have taken part in their afternoon activities. In groups they built shelters from the materials around them, and they are now learning how to safely build a fire before they settle down for their dinner. After dinner there will be games before bedtime. 

 

Evening Activities:

The children are having the most fantastic time. I have been down to see the children this evening. They were in the middle of toasting their marshmallows by the camp fire. They cooked their own burgers on the fire just before I came and were really in the swing of things. The children have had really great fun today and a definite highlight was building shelters and then testing it with a bucket of water...whilst they were inside the shelter!

They have been exceptionally well behaved and really have taken on the spirit of outdoor life. There are some real future campers amongst them! They are just off to wash, brush their teeth and get into bed now. I am sure after such an adventurous day they will sleep well tonight....we hope!

Good morning all!! The children slept well in their tents last night...some of our campers were up very early this morning, so I would say they will be very tired on collection today! The children have had their breakfast now and are ready for their first activity of the day! They have continued to have a great time and what a lovely experience for them all! I am sure they are going to tell you all about their adventures when you collect later this afternoon!
