Another fun packed week in Reception. At the beginning of the week we were treated to a drama workshop with the 'Performa' company. All children had to pretend to be astronaunts going into space.

We had our first buddy assembly this morning and I am so proud of our little ones. Roll on for Buddy 2. In English this week we discussed how boring it would be if we were all the same. We talked about similarities and differences and how we should celebrate them like Elmer did.

In Maths we continued with number formation.

In Understanding of the World we looked at things that we would see at night and things we would see during the day. This was linked to our R.E topic of creation.

In Art we drew portraits of ourselves. We studied ourselves by looking in the mirror.

In R.E we read the story of the creation and we first sequenced it together and then the children independently did it themselves.
