What a great week! World Book Day is a all-time favourite on the St. Joseph's calendar. Everyone, even the staff, got into character, embraced their roles, and looked wonderful! Everyone had a fantastic day. In the morning, we began with assembly for KS1 and KS2. Shortly after, children had time to compose, edit, and perform their twisted fairy tale stories for the Academy competition. We then distributed these to the classes with whom we had enjoyed a good book in the afternoon. EYFS made some fantastic spud heroes! KS1 built a character out of a paper plate, whereas KS2 created a matchbook box. We also included quizzes, book reviews, author guessing, character sharing, and a much more!
