Anti-bullying Ambassadors
The Mission of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
To keep our school a bully-free zone because every child deserves to feel safe, welcome and happy at school.
Our Aims
* To help keep our school a 'bully-free zone',
* To help others identify if/when bullying is happening,
* To intervene calmly, but only where possible,
* To encourage the children that come to us for help to speak to a trusted adult
* To be sensible, approachable, supportive and effective listeners so that others know they can talk to us for help, if they are experiencing bullying,
* To inform a trusted adult, at school, of all incidents of bullying.

Anti-bullying Ambassadors 2025-2026!
After a very successful Anti-bullying week, below are our newly elected ambassadors for 2025-2026. The children presented to their class, why they wanted to be an anti-bullying ambassador and were voted for by the rest of their class mates. You can also read below why they wanted to be an ambassador to ensure bullying isn't an issue at St Joseph's!
Year 1:Shaya and Tatiana.
Shaya: "I want to be kind to people and make sure everyone in the school is kind".
Tatiana: "I want to stop the bullying and help people when they are hurt and make sure they are being kind".
Year 2: Chinedum and Jason
Chinedum: "I want to be an anti-bullying ambassador because I want to help people to not be a bully. I want to teach them to be kind and to be an example for Jesus. If they bully I will tell them not to and if they keep doing it I will tell the teacher".
Jason: "I will be strict and tell them to stop bullying so that there is no bullying at St Joseph's".
Year 3: Harley and Alexander
Harley: "I want to be an anti-bullying ambassador because I don't like it when people are sad and being bullied. It's just not fair. Everyone should be treated kindly. No one is better than anyone else and we should all be kind to everyone! I want people to not feel bad because I know what it feels like.
Alexander: "I want to be an anti-bullying ambassador because I want to help people when they fall down or if someone is mean to them. I will tell them they are ok and I will always support them".
Year 4: to be announced! :)
Year 5: Michelle and Dominykas
Michelle: "I want to be an anti-bullying ambassador because in some classes they have lots of fights and I want to help them stop. I will listen to both sides and try to make it better".
Dominykas: "I want to be an anti-bullying ambassador because I just can't stand seeing people being upset and bullied, even if it isn't me that is sad. I don't want to see people being bullied and I just want to stop it!"
Year 6: Acacia and Jayden.
Acacia: "I decided to be anti-bullying ambassador because I love helping people and want to make school a better place, make sure bullying doesn't happen and make sure everyone has the best time at St Joseph's!"
Jayden: "I wanted to be an anti-bullying ambassador so that if anyone felt lonely and if no one was playing with them they can come to us to ask for help and we will be there for them".
We are very lucky to have anti-bullying ambassadors that are so driven to ensure St Joseph's is a happy, bully-free place for everyone and I look forward to working with them throughout this upcoming year. Well done everyone!
