Another fun packed week in Reception.
We have been busy with our phonics, learning new phase 3 sounds ar start the car, oo poo at the zoo and oo, look at a book.
Our tricky words were 'my, by and was'.
In literacy we have been using our sounds and putting them into sentences. In guided reading with have continued reading our ditties daily.
In maths we continue to add 2 numbers and add quantity to numeral
For DT week with have linked it with our R.E, the story of Jesus feeding the 5000. We learnt how Jesus was able to feed so many people just with 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish.
We then made and baked our own bread rolls.
