What a busy week we have had in Reception. Lots of fun packed learning.

Literacy: We have been continuing with our whole class guided reading, reading our 'ditties'. We have then been writing our sentences using them from the 'ditties.'

Maths: We have begun adding two numbers together using manipulatives. We have been learning what the add/plus and equal symbol means.

UW: This week we made jam sandwiches linked to our story from last week. We spooned the jam on the bread and then we used a plastic knife to spread the jam. We then cut the slice of bread and folded it together. We then ate our jam sandwiches! They were delicious!

R.E: We spoke about the importance of caring for others and how we can show love through actions.

Stars of the week: Robert and Ayla

Learner of the week: Alexander

Have a lovely half term.
