Hi everyone, it's that time again for class news! The weeks are flying by and Christmas seems like such a distant memory, doesn't it?!

This week we wrote our own Stanley's Stick inspired stories, which will soon be on display for all to read and enjoy outside the hall. We took our stories to Reception so that we could share our work with them. We then started our new book, Ruby's Worry, writing about our own worries and advice that we could give to Ruby to make her worry go away! We also role-played a conversation between the two main characters of the story, developing our oracy skills.

In maths we were making teen numbers using tens frame, learning that a teen number is 10 and some more.

This week we also had a drama workshop, set in a toy shop, which the children all really enjoyed.

Have a lovely weekend
