The end of another busy week and the penultimate before the half term break! Where is the time going?!
This week in maths, we were learning about doubling and halving. A tricky concept but we will revisit again next week as we look at odd and even numbers.
This week was also the visit with GB gymnast Saffron Severn. The children really enjoyed her visit and were put through their paces with lots of exercises including spotty dogs and lunges. Lots of fun while raising money, amazing!
In RE, we learned about Candlemas and how it is celebrated around the world.
In English, we finished the story of Ravi's Roar while we continued to reinforce the use of capital letters and full stops. Some of us still need to remember to check that we are using capital letters correctly which is something that you can help them practice at home too.
