Hello everyone, Friday is upon us, so it means one thing...class news!

Another busy week has come to an end. This week we completed out toys old and new topic by exploring our very own toy museum! This is a collection of toys old and new that I have collected over the years to enhance the children's experience of the topic. They all had so much fun exploring them, especially the fashion plates, a variation of one of my own favourite toys growing up, fashion wheel! Showing my age now.

In maths we were looking at measuring, making comparisons between shorter/taller. The children had to work together to order themselves according to height starting with shortest all the way to the tallest in the class. They then had to work with a partner to find objects with a height difference-one object taller than the other. Everyone worked so well together to complete the activity set.

In English we began our new book, 'Martha Maps it Out' and the children had to make 'maps' of themselves writing in detail about themselves and the things they like to do.

In RE we wrote prayers of forgiveness as we prepare during this time of Lent. Please do remember to help your child to practise their lines for our upcoming prayer service.

Have a wonderful weekend and see you all on Monday
