Summer 2, Week 4 - Friday 27th June 2025
I'm sure by now you've heard all about Kingswood and what a wonderful week we had. It was the hottest week I've ever had for a residential trip but everyone coped very well. Behaviour at night was excellent, with everyone asleep by about 11 each night. We had some fantastic activities, including Quidditch, High All Aboard, Jacob's Ladder and the 3G swing as well as the old favourite, the Leap of Faith. There were also opportunities for problem solving, den building and a campfire. I was impressed with the children challenging themselves and going that bit further than they thought they could and their tenacity and determination with activities such as Jacob's Ladder and the Leap of Faith. It was lovely to hear our group leader saying that our children were the most supportive group she'd come across as each group was keeping an eye on the other and shouting encouragement during the Leap of Faith.
