Happy New Year to you all and welcome to our Spring Term.

It was so nice to see everyone back in school on Tuesday, and it was lovely to share our stories about our Christmas break. We celebrated being back with our Epiphany mass in school.

We have started a new book in English this week - The Misadventures of Frederick, about a friendship between two children and how the girl, Emily, encourages Frederick to be more adventurous instead of hiding inside his house.

In Maths this week we have been practising our addition and subtraction skills, and next week we will be moving onto multiplication and division.

We also started our new History topic of Henry VIII and the Tudor times. We have enjoyed learning about the life of Henry VIII, and his many wives!
