On Wednesday, we had a visit from the rhythmic gymnast Saffron Severn who has competed at commonwealth level. She told us about her career as a gymnast and about how she had so much resilience and never gave up on her dreams to compete at a high level.   Well done to all those who have brought in their sponsorship money already, please remember to keep collecting and to bring any money in by or pay online by Tuesday. The more we raise, the more new PE equipment the school can buy. 

This week we have been working on our division skills in maths. We have continued working on the Tudors in History, where we found out about the spectacular tours Queen Elizabeth I went on around the whole country.  In English we have continued studying the poem The Listener and we will be writing our own narrative poem.

We enjoyed watching the Year 6 class assembly today and loved hearing about the famous persuasive speeches.
