WEEK 2
This week has been a great week! It's lovely to be back. Thank you for all the messages of congratulations - It means a lot to my husband and I.
World Book Day was fantastic. It was wonderful to see so many amazing costumes and the effort that had gone into making or preparing them – thank you so much for your support.
In English, we have started a new narrative unit based on Leon and the Place Between. The children have begun exploring the story and will be creating their own imaginative narratives inspired by it.
In Maths, we have finished our work on shapes and symmetry. Next week we will be moving on to decimals and problem solving.
In RE, we have started our new unit, Desert to Garden, where we are looking at Lent promises and the story of the Prodigal Son.
In Geography this week, we have also begun our new topic: How Food Travels.
Well done to the stars and learner of the week:
Stars: Desire and Phoebe
Learner: Lula
and to Joe for the St Francis of Assisi award.
Have a lovely weekend.
