This week we have enjoyed celebrating reading in this 'Year of Reading', firstly by listening to a presentation on Tuesday by a Year 5 pupil from St Paul's School who has already had, not one, but two books published!  I'm sure all of Year 6 found her very inspiring.  Then yesterday, we celebrated World Book Day.  Well done to everyone who dressed up, especially those who had been really creative in making part of their own costume or embellishing bits themselves.  Year 6 enjoyed all sorts of activities including participating in radio plays and adding the sound effects, creating backing tracks for The Lord of The Rings, drawing their own comic strips and doing a book treasure hunt in and around the school garden.  Altogether, a great day, enjoyed by all.
