Welcome to Year 6!

We have had a lovely first two days in Year 6 and I have been very impressed so far with smart uniforms, excellent behaviour, a calm, quiet atmosphere and a good attitude to work.  This afternoon, Year 6 had their first trip to Reception to start getting to know each other.  There will be a few more visits in the run up to one of the favourite assemblies of the year - Buddy Assembly in a few weeks.

I look forward to continuing to get to know all the children as the year progresses and to meeting all the parents at our annual Meet the Teacher event in a couple of weeks.  In the meantime, I am always available at the end of the day, so if you have any concerns please do come to the door and speak to me when I am dismissing the class.

Well done, Year 6.  You've made a great start to your final year in St Joseph's and shown yourselves to be ready to be great role models for the rest of the school!
