Autumn 2, Week 7, Friday 19th December 2025
We've made it to the end of the Autumn Term and are now one third of the way through Year 6! What a week it's been with lots of work to finish off but also some lovely Christmas events. The choir sang at Deercote on Tuesday which was lovely and festive - they really sang their hearts out and raised the roof.
On Wednesday we watched the Year 1 and Year 2 Nativity, which was delightful, then Key Stage 2 headed to Church to practise the Carol Service.
Thursday was the Talent Show with so many enthusiastic and talented children showcasing their singing, dancing, piano playing and more; then in the afternoon we had class parties which were great fun.

To finish the week off, the whole school went to Church this morning for our annual Carol Service - a festival of readings and carols to remind us of the Christmas story and why we celebrate Christmas, accompanied by our children creating a tableau on the sanctuary. Well done to all our readers, actors and everyone for singing so well and making it such an uplifting end to the term. An extra well done to the choir for their beautiful singing and the descants they added in for two carols and to Elnathan for opening the service with the solo in Once in Royal David's City.
Wishing you all a happy Christmas and a restful, fun time with family. See you in 2026!
