Autumn 2, Week 5, Friday 5th December 2025
Now that we're in December, the weeks will fly by and get busier and busier in the run up to Christmas. Year 6 have still been working hard though. In maths, we've looked at area of composite shapes, triangles and parallelograms. In RE, the children have been finding out about women in the Old Testament.
Many of the children have finished sewing their waistcoats in DT. Here are a few examples; more to follow. Fantastic work, Year 6!
On Wednesday, the Chaplaincy Team headed in one direction for the Advent Service in Westminster Cathedral with schools from across the Diocese. They had a wonderful time. It's always a lovely service and the live animals are always popular!
Meanwhile, the rest of Year 6 went to the Pavilions in Waltham Cross to entertain shoppers with some Christmas carols. They were a real credit to the school as their behaviour was excellent and the singing was beautiful, even with only 17 of them. Well done, Year 6!
