Here we are, already into Autumn 2 and the weeks will fly by as this term becomes busier and busier.  This week, Year 6 have enjoyed looking at the book that will be the inspiration for our next writing unit - Planetarium by Chris Wormell and Raman Prinja.  They will be using pages from this book to learn about the structure and grammar of a non-chronological report before creating their own planet to write about.

In maths, we have revised long multiplication but will continue to revisit this throughout the year.  We have also looked at prioritising information and starting points when problem solving.

Finally, it was lovely to meet so many parents last night at our Parent Consultation meetings and to be able to tell you all what a great start Year 6 have made to the year.
