St Joseph'sCatholic Primary School

Fit in February: Thursday

Your February Challenge for today is:

Do some sit ups.

Bronze: 10 sit ups.

Silver: 20 sit ups

Gold: 30 or more sit ups

You can ask a parent or sibling to hold your feet if you need a little extra help.  Make sure you bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor throughout.  The intention is to use your stomach (abdominal) muscles so try not to swing your arms or pull yourself up by holding onto your legs.

If you still have energy after your sit ups, here is a routine based on PE lessons from before Christmas, which some of you may recognise.  Everyone who hears this music appears be drawn in by the enthusiasm and sheer joy of it.
