Class News 20.12.24

Festive fun….
What another busy festive week the Nursery children have had! In our classroom the children have enjoyed our small world Nativity story book with wooden figures which they have been using to retell the nativity story. Nursery have been busy decorating their own Christmas tree pictures practicing their fine motor skills - cutting and sticking! We have made our own Christmas fairy lights by threading beads, we have been playing a bauble number matching game and  also practicing our names for our Christmas cards just to name a few of the things and making our Christmas cards and bauble decorations!! On             Wednesday, we had a wonderful time visiting Father Christmas in his grotto with his elves! The children were so lucky to receive a gift! Parents they are all on the good list!   But the best part of this week has to be the Nursery and Reception class singalong!! We were so proud of all of them! Beautiful singing and actions and they all looked wonderful in their Christmas party clothes! A very big well done to all our Nursery children who are all Stars of the Week!

We finished our Christmas week with our class party, wearing our party hats we enjoyed some delicious treats followed by some excellent dance moves to their favourite songs.
We can’t believe Nursery have completed their first term - it is wonderful to see how they have settled and become a class, how far they have already come and the lovely friendships they have made.

We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and very best wishes for the new year.
thank you always for your continued support.
