Thank you to our families!
We have begun our new topic 'People who help us', and have begun this week thinking about people who help us at home and in our family. We discussed how might our families help us. Many of the children said my family help tidy my toys away and cook my food. Your hard work parents has not gone unnoticed by your little ones! We shared lots of examples of families helping us mums, dads, brothers, sisters, nans, grandads, uncles and aunties and we celebrated all their help and care for us. On our creative table the children were invited to make a thank you card for their family . We also encouraged them to use their name cards to write their names. A great try nursery we will keep practicing this 😊. In maths we have been continuing our number recognition and practicing our 1:1 correspondence. The children thoroughly enjoyed our frog counting game to practice these skills. On Friday we finished our week with our ‘Onsie upon a time day - all the children looked great in their onsiesThe children enjoyed our day of celebrating books with Reception Class, visiting our school library and a very special assembly.
