Class News 23.5.25
Hola…..Hello… buenos dias…good day
As you know this week our school has been celebrating international week and it has been a very exciting week. For our class country, we have been learning all about Spain. We learnt how to say hello and goodbye, good morning and good afternoon. We have been learning about the Spanish flag, the landscape, its climate and cuisine. We also made a very tasty Spanish snack called ‘ Pan con tomate’ as you will have seen from dojo the children rubbed garlic and olive oil on toasted bread and added chopped tomatoes. We were very impressed how the children attempted to try what they had made.
We have also been talking and sharing about all the many countries we are from. The children have really enjoyed looking at our globe and seeing where all the different countries are too. It was wonderful today to also see so many children in national dress and colours of their flags. We have enjoyed many delicious foods from around our wonderful world - thank you parents who donated food to the international food market ! Amongst all of this fun we have still managed to practice our phase 2 sound ‘m’,we have been looking at 2d shapes in maths and have been reading and acting out our story ‘ Smiley shark’.
Congratulations to our stars of the week Ezekiel and Maisa and our reading trunki to Aylin 🤩
We wish you all a wonderful half term break 😎
kind regards,
Mrs Vinci and Mrs Direnzo
