When I grow up…

Another busy week has flown by in Nursery!
This week has been our school Aspirations week and it was wonderful to see so many children dressed in their costumes. Some aspiring to be doctors, firemen/women, princesses, footballers, ballet dancers to name a few. We enjoyed exploring different roles and jobs in our role play area. Nursery were also lucky to have a visit from the Cheshunt Fire Station. All the. Children were able to go inside and explore the fire engine. They also got a chance at using the water hose!

This week in Nursery was a very special week as it was our first class assembly.  Our theme of our assembly was 'friendship' as part of our RE topic this term. The children retold the story of the Rainbow Fish and how he learns to share his scales and how special it is to have friends. Nursery all said their lines and sang our 'Rainbow' and Friendship' songs beautifully - we were so proud of them! They enjoyed showing their sparkly fish and pictures of their friends. We ended our assembly with a special slideshow of all the children in Nursery playing, sharing and caring - it’s what we do! A special thank you to Mrs Direnzo who complied the slideshow for Nursery class. Thank you parents and carers for supporting your child with their lines and for coming to our assembly. It was wonderful to see so many of you there .
