An egg, builders hat and a bean bag...can only be our sports day!

As we near the end of our year in Nursery class we are still very busy and having fun!

We began our week with Tiddler by Julia Donaldson. The children really enjoyed this story and the activities planned around the book. The children have loved playing with our purple, glitter playdough this week and making many interesting things. Mrs Direnzo and I have have enjoyed lots of pizza's and tasty biscuits!

We have been continuing with our phase 2 phonics and we are so impressed how some of the children are putting sounds together to read bcc words. In maths we have been looking at shapes their names, counting edges and corners.

We also held our Nursery's sports day! We had a builders race, egg and spoon race, balance a quoit, the bean bag and hoop race finished with some relay running races. I am sure you will agree just how fantastic Nursery was and which is why they were all so deserving of their winner medals! Thank you so much parents and carer's too, for showing your support and cheering our Nursery children on!

wishing you a wonderful weekend,

Mrs Vinci & Mrs Direnzo
