Good morning,
The snow is here!! It’s Christmas!
I will be on class dojo should you want any questions answered about the work set. Please remember that these activities are optional. If you wish to complete some or all, please send in photos so I can see what you are all up to!
For some lessons, you will see task 1 and task 2 - please just choose one!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE FUN IN THE SNOW TOO!!!
Morning reflection -
Yesterday was the 3rd Sunday of Advent.
Please could you write a short prayer about Advent. Write a few advent promises that can be shared with others.
Reading – Please read through the comprehension and answer the questions.

Task 1 – Write a retelling of the story. Use the story map to help you.
Task 2 – Write a setting description of snow based on the clip. There is an example to help and ideas bank.
Maths - There are fun maths challenges for you to have a go at – enjoy!

Task 1 - Retell the story of the nativity in your own words.
Task 2 - Imagine you are Mary or Joseph on the long journey to Bethlehem. Record a diary entry, making sure you include details about the journey and scenery, as well as your thoughts and feelings.
Art /DT
Create a picture/painting /piece of art or craft that shows a snowy Christmas scene like today. Get as creative as you can be!
Task 2 - Please create your place-mat for our Christmas dinner on Wednesday. You can be as creative as you like.
