Breakfast & After School Club

St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School offers an established before and after school provision, which operates from  

Monday – Thursday, term time only.

 

Breakfast and After School clubs are based on the school site and is located in the Nursery building,  we pride ourselves in providing a welcoming provision run by qualified staff, some who are also parents themselves, so we have a good idea of what both children and parents/carer’s needs are.

 

At St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School children are listened too and get a say in what they want to do and get to choose activities that they want to play with.

 

All staff are qualified in childcare from levels 3 – 6, our last OFSTED school inspection graded us GOOD with an OUTSTANDING grade for personal development and welfare.

 

 

BREAKFAST CLUB

 

Our Breakfast Club operates Monday – Friday 7.45am – 8.45am.

 

Charges are £4.50 per session which will be payable in advance through our ParentMail + Pay system on a pay as you use basis. 

 

This cost includes breakfast – orange/apple juice, milk, cereals and toast.

 

There is a variety of arts and crafts, sports and other activities available.

 

If your child is not going to attend a booked session please inform the school office by 3pm on the previous day.

Please complete and return a registration form to the School office, a payment item will then be set up on Parentmail+Pay.

 

Please note children should not be left at the Breakfast club without prior arrangement, a registration form must be completed in all instances before a place is confirmed.

 

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

 

Our After School Club operates from Monday – Thursday  3.15pm to 5.15pm/5.30pm

 

Costs are £10.50 per session which will be payable in advance through our ParentMail + Pay system on a pay as you use basis. 

This cost will include a healthy snack.

 

Activities could include; cold/hot cooking, play-dough, arts and crafts, home corner, book corner, board games, construction, puppets and role play. We make use of the outside play areas as much as we can.

 

If your child is not going to attend a booked session please inform the school office by 3pm on the previous day.

 

If you would like more information or would like your child to attend Breakfast Club or After School Clubs, please contact the school office for a booking and registration form, or simply click on the link below… There is currently an extremely high demand for places and numbers are capped.Book early to ensure places are available. 

Occasional Bookings:

 

From time to time we are hoping to accommodate occasional sessions for Breakfast and After School Club, these will charged at the daily rate.

 

These sessions must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure we have adequate staffing and food available.

 

Children should not be left at either Breakfast and After School Club without prior arrangement.

 

Advanced cancellations must be made by the Friday of the previous week if possible due to staffing arrangements.  Sickness is obviously not included in this but all other reason’s for non attendance needs to be communicated to the school office.

 

Due to the popularity of both these clubs places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Please do not assume a place will be available at either club.
