Another busy week here in Reception. 

We have been busy exploring the outdoor area as the weather has been very good to us this week.

This week was Black History week and Art week. To celebrate we read books about being different. We looked at how different our skin colour is and how different our hair is too.

We painted amazing portraits of ourselves and these are displayed in our classroom.

English: We have been practising going over all our sounds learnt so far and our tricky words. We are making sure we can all write our name and forming letters properly.

Maths: We have been matching quantity to numerals.

R.E; We had our Prayer Service on Thursday where we celebrated the Month of Mary. We prayed to Mary and prayed that we be more like her in our everyday lives.

Congratulations to our stars this week: Myla and Kelechi.
