Friday again. This week we looked at how toys have changed. It was lovely to learn about the different toys many of you played with when you were younger. A wonderful walk down memory lane for me and the year 1 staff. We talked about how lots of old toys were handmade from metal, fabric or wood and how most toys now are predominantly machine made, mass produced and plastic. The children have really been engaging with this topic, it is definitely one of my favourite topics to teach.
