The main part of the homework for Year 6 for the Easter holidays is revision and practising skills for SATs; this is in a paper pack which children will bring home on Friday 31st March. 

There is also an extra English task, set by Mrs O'Connor, which is to take part in a whole school Easter project called 'The Saint in My Life'.  During our whole school assembly on Monday, Mrs O'Connor introduced the project and explained that you could write about an existing saint related to the school eg. St Francis (who represents our academy), St Joseph (our school patron saint) or St John Bosco (our class saint) or you could choose one who is important to you and your family.  The other option is to choose someone who is important in your life, who is not actually a saint yet but who inspires, encourages you and shows you love.  Mrs O'Connor gave the example of her own mother.  This homework is due in on Tuesday 18th April.
