Year 3 - 02.12.22

Well, here we are at the start of December! Every year we all say how did we get here so quickly?! I hope you're all starting to feel festive and looking forward to this special time of year.

It feels like in Maths that we've been doing addition and subtraction forever but the improvements the children are making with their hundreds, tens and ones, place value, and regrouping is fantastic! They've grasped the concepts so well - keep it up!

In English we have started our poetry unit and the children have started exploring some lovely vocabulary linking to nature and the words that we are losing. 

Our Jesse tree is up on our RE display - can the boys and girls tell you what that is? We are preparing for advent and have started our new topic, Visitors. 

Stone Age boxes have been sent home today; they've made a great display in our classroom so a big thank you for all the time and effort that went into them.
