Class News - Week 3

It has been a short and sweet week. Our lessons have been fun and creative and our final riddles are fantastic!

This week we have started our new topic for English – Myths. We have started off by looking at different Roman gods and goddess. We have written about our favourite ones and why and even written our own reports on them. We have been working on our inferring skills this week by introducing ourselves as a certain god or goddess for others to try and guess. What naughty gods and goddesses there are!

In Maths, we have started looking at number magnitude and rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. This will be the focus on next week’s homework.

In Science this week, we re-enacted how food goes through the digestive system. Smelly and sticky!  Next week, we will be creating stories as if we are food and travelling through the digestive system.

For our RE lessons next week, we will be looking at the story of Ruth and Joseph.

Bonjour!! Comment tu t’appelles? Hello! How are you? We have been recapping our introductions to people. We will continue this next week.

Have a lovely weekend!
