Holy Week

Our final week before Easter, a special week - Holy Week. 

On Monday Nursery attended our whole school Palm assembly. Each child was given a palm to take home in celebration of Palm Sunday. On Tuesday Nursery visited the school hall to see the Stations of the Cross. We lit a candle and listened to peaceful music whilst reflecting on each of the stations and retelling the Easter Story. Nursery were as always very quiet, peaceful and respectful. Finally on Maundy Thursday Nursery attended our whole school assembly with Father John who washed 12 pupils feet. In the afternoon Nursery watched Year 3 and Year 4 perform a very moving performance of the Easter Story. The children are excited to bring home their Easter cards they have made today and it has been so lovely to see their confidence in attempting to write their names. Well done Nursery!

It has been a very busy term but a very enjoyable one!
