YEAR 2 TRIP TO COLCHESTER ZOO
Upper Key Stage 2 Hindu Temple Visit
Year One Trip to Cedars Park 4.7.2022.
On Monday 4th July, Year One visited Cedar's Park for their class trip. We began our trip walking to Cedars. Our first stop was to go into the mini zoo. We all had a chance to feed the meerkats and listen to the keeper tell us all about them. After that we looked at the other animals in the zoo. Then we went for a walk around the park and played on the hill. We sat for lunch then played in the maze followed by a final trip to the mini zoo where we had a meet and greet with a skunk named Darwin! Darwin was very friendly and we were all able to stroke him if we wanted to. We were very lucky indeed! After we got back to class, we all enjoyed a delicious rainbow ice cream cone! A fantastic day was had by all. Thank you to Mrs Sharp and Mrs Dida for joining us.
Year One Trip to Cedars
Year 2 Trip to the Transport Museum
We had a wonderful day at the museum. We saw the buses including the Golden Jubilee bus (which we renamed Golden boy),we had a tour back in time by our speaker .He gave us a ticket and we travelled back in time for our tour of trains,trams and coaches from the past.We then raced around the museum to get our card stamped at all the different places.It was an amazing day from beginning to end.
SOUTHEND TRIP
NURSERY AND RECEPTION 20.06.22
WOW!!! What an amazing day we had at Southend, the children had such a great day.
We arrived at Southend aquarium and was greeted firstly by the otters, followed by the fishes, star fishes, sharks, clown fishes, meerkats, dinosaurs, butterflies and so much more!!
Then we had lunch together and took a stroll along the beach front, where we played with our friends, created sand mounts, collected shells and felt the warm sunshine on our backs.
Finally, we all had a yummy delicious ice cream! YUM YUM!!!
A lovely, fun and engaging day was had by all!!
