Nursery News 2/12/22
Another week has flown by in Nursery. We continued our phase 1 phonics, listening to and identifying environmental sounds getting us ready to start phase 2 phonics after Christmas.
This week, as part of our People Who Help Us topic, we learned all about the police, what they wear and what they do. We looked at our own fingerprints and made police badges. We also developed our cutting skills.
In maths, we compared the sizes of objects sequencing Christmas themed pictures from smallest to biggest.
In RE, we revisited baptism and the children role-played a baptism in small groups. They were fantastic and were able to remember the main features of a baptism.
