Earlier this week, we celebrated our school feast day as it was St Joseph's Day.  We started the day with a lovely Mass, led by children in each Key Stage 2 class.  We created prayer cards which children then took home to share with families.  In the afternoon, Year 6 had time to make lilies and play with their buddies before having ice-creams together.

We've spent some time this week on assessments, so children have been working hard.  We'll be looking at results and next steps during the last few school days of term.

Today, we finished off the work we'd been doing in Science Week - Year 6 have been building circuits with a motor and a switch and their brief was first to create a fan that would suck and then to put this into a container so that it would act as a mini vacuum cleaner.  They were very enthusiastic and we saw some fantastic teamwork with great results as our vacuum cleaners worked!
