CLASS NEWS 26.01.24

Well, another week is done and we are into the full hustle and bustle of the Spring Term. We have had another jam packed week. We visited Father John, in the church this week as part of our Catholic Social Teaching, and make donations to our local food bank.

We have also been learning about subtraction this week and how to take away using tens, ones and next week we will carry on our learning but using re-grouping with our tens and ones.

This was our final week of learning about Rapunzel, and the children have written their own narratives based on traditional tales. We have thoroughly enjoyed this unit and we look forward to our next unit, non-fiction text.

We continue to learn about the Gospel and different types of books in the church. Next week we will be learning about other faiths; Sikhism.
