CLASS NEWS

Another Friday done and one more week closer to Christmas!!
 

This week we have been learning mental strategies for addition and subtraction. The addition was okay to begin with and then became a bit more difficult, but the children really persevered and shows their determination!
 

In English this week we have been learning about the story of “where’s my teddy?” And the children wrote their own recount of the story and finally wrote their own story.
 

We are starting own new RE topic next week of “Preparations” and thinking about the coming of Jesus Christ, our saviour and the light of the world as we prepare ourselves for Christmas.

Finally a few reminders

• the parts have been given out for the nativity play and the lines will be sent home on Monday, any problems with the costumes please speak to us.
• please can the children who have had star of the week please return their star badges
• please make sure homework is returned latest on Tuesdays
