Another week has flown by!

Another brilliant week has finished in year 3.

In English we finished our instruction writing unit by writing our own set of instructions for either a woolly bear or a saber-tooth tiger, they were brilliant and the children worked really hard to make sure they included all they had learn over the last few weeks including, imperative verbs, prepositions and adverts for time.

Maths, we finished our written subtraction and have just started problem solving. The children have loved this unit so far and are very keen to carry on next week

In RE we are due to start our new topic ready for advent, Visitors, we will be discussing who makes and good visitor and why.

Science this week we put our fantastic story writing skills to the test and wrote our own short story all about magnet man and how he saves the day repealing monsters and attracting harmful metals!

Homework was set yesterday, however I forgot to hand books out until today. Therefore, homework is not due until Wednesday this week.

Have a lovely weekend
