WEEK 2
The more you read, the more you will know, the more places you will go.
What a fantastic world book day week. Thank you all to you for making it such a fantastic day and for taking the time to think of the outfits; they were out of this world!
This week in maths, we have been looking at multiplying fractions by a whole number. We will be moving next week to measure, conversion, perimeter, and area.
In English, we are coming to the end of our persuasion topic. We will be starting our mystery and suspense unit for the next three weeks – I am super excited!
In Geography, we have started looking at our new topic ‘Oceans’. We have been looking at how the Ocean is used and why it is important. We have started a big write for this, which we will add to each week.
In RE we have been focusing on sections of the mass. We have looked at the Eucharist rite and the Eucharist prayers. We have looked at the similarities and difference between the Gospels writers based on the Last Supper and also looked compared this to Leonardo da Vinci’s painting. We will start our new topic next week.
In Science, we will be starting our new unit for Living things and their habitats. We will focus next week on British Science week.
