Busy, busy bees in Year 3!

In English we started looking at the features of non-fiction books; this is the starting point of our unit on non-chronological reports. We'll all be non-fiction authors by the end and writing our own volcano books!

In Maths we have been learning about parallel and perpendicular lines. The children have picked it up so quickly! Can you see any parallel or perpendicular lines around your home?

Our RE topic, Journeys, is under way! Thinking about whether life is a journey and we will continue to explore this over the coming weeks. 

Thank you for all the cakes that were sent in for our cake sale and for the money to buy them back again! The children have had a great day in their onesies and pyjamas, too. Thank you for supporting our events.
