A little glimpse through the door into our St Joseph’s Day celebrations. 

The day started so beautifully with year 6 leading mass for us from the school hall. This was celebrated by Fr John and streamed via Teams into each class. I think my pride this morning shone through at just seeing our children shine .The first glimpse of a little normality.Year 6 stood strong and proud as role models and leaders in our school.They sang and read beautifully. 

Today also marked our start here in school of the Year of St Joseph. The Pope has announced that this year will be dedicated to our Patron Saint so today felt even more special as we start on our journey of understanding St Joseph even better. 

The activities started then , St Joseph’s art. All sorts of art and DT depicting St Joseph. We had tools, painting and much more. This was all before the first treat ,a little chocolate cake for break and then we waited ,and waited until we heard the ice cream van. Everyone enjoyed their tub will sprinkles AND marshmallow. The excitement and enjoyment was amazing .To see such joy on our children’s faces after such a year was truly memorable.
