2024 – 2025
Reception 2024 applies to children born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020.

In addition to the completing the Supplementary Information Form, if you are a practising Catholic and are applying under categories 2 and 3, please obtain a Certificate Of Catholic Practice from your Parish Priest.
As well as completing and submitting the Supplementary Information Form to the school office, you must also apply for a school place online, the application process for Under 11s (Reception) commence on 1st November 2023 and close on 12th January 2024 on the following website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions

St Joseph's Catholic Nursery
Nursery applies to children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021
Please Note: We are a 30 hours childcare provider, and welcome applications from children of all faiths to our Nursery.

In-Year Applications
An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places.
An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form and returning it to;
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Royal Avenue, Waltham Cross, Herts, EN8 7EN
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for 2023 -2024, will be applied as detailed in our Admissions Policy.
Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. Please see the admission arrangements for more details.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.
You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.
