  • A glimpse of what our children see!

    Wed 30 Mar 2022

While this term we have started to invite parents back in to events ,still much of our school hasn’t been seen by our parents. The experiences of our children are rich and in some areas diverse. Our school is bright and vibrant and our children are celebrated.

Please take a look and next time it will be in person!

  • Stations of the Cross

    Wed 30 Mar 2022

As a Trust of schools, we have united together in our Lenten prayer preparations and spiritual journey for our children. It is important we teach our children and model example of prayer. We have, with the aid of our talented students in all of our Trust schools, compiled a booklet of the Stations of the Cross, which we encourage every family to use and pray together this Lent.

A copy has been sent home with your child and an electronic copy can viewed by clicking the link below.

  • One week to go ……

    Fri 25 Mar 2022

How quick has this week gone?

This week we have been very busy learning our class assembly, the Easter service with year 4 and completing our work (it has been a jam-packed week).
In English today we finished our report unit and ending by writing our own report on Hogwarts. Maths we have continued with fractions, starting to look at problem solving using fractions.

Father John visited us today and we had a really lovely discussion all about our topic giving all and how the parish helps people in different ways. Father John told us the story of the Sheep and Goats and how when we help others we are helping God just like the story.

We hope you enjoy your cards and daffodils. Have a lovely weekend in the sun!

  • CPRE Children’s Art Competition Update

    Thu 24 Mar 2022

Back in the autumn term, some of our children chose to produce a piece of art inspired by The Colour of Nature.  We had a very difficult job deciding which of the many beautiful entries to submit to the overall competition.

Many congratulations to Alex in Year 6!!

Today, we were able to present Alex with his certificate and voucher.

Well done to Alex and to all of you who put the time and effort into creating your art for the competition.

If you would like to look at some of the other artwork entered into the competition or to find out more about the CPRE, please visit their website: www.cpreherts.org.uk

Remember, even if you didn’t win this time, there’s always another chance.  Keep creating.

  • WORLD BOOK DAY 2022!!

    Thu 03 Mar 2022

WOW!!! What an amazing day we have had, from baking cookies, to tea parties and so much more.

We truly have celebrated the 25th year of World Book day in style this year. Our assemblies were jam packed with excitement and we even got to hear from our ‘class mystery’ reader!!

This was such a lovely day to celebrate together for our children. They have had a wonderful day sharing their stories and their love for reading, and of course we loved the costumes!!
