  • Happy Christmas

    Tue 19 Dec 2023

    Dear Parents and families,

Thank you for your continued support this year. Without our support of each other our school would not be as rich as it is. For us the real meaning of Christmas ,love and giving is seen everyday, but this term our children truly have made a difference to each other.

For me St Joseph's is a special place ,a place where everyone is celebrated and supported. A smile in the morning or a 'have a good day' ,makes a difference. A celebration where we are all together ,as we have been in the lead up to Christmas truly shows the real beauty of St Joseph's children . Our school is amazing .but I am biased of course, but to see them grow, achieve and love our school in the way they do everyday is a privilege to be a part of.

So here is a brief look back at our Autumn term. A term filled with events such as Anti bully week, Black history month, Spanish Immersion day,Stem day,Children in need events ,topic launches and sharing, projects from home learning ,writing competitions and Christmas card competitions and so so much more !

Thank you for your gifts ,cards and Christmas wishes!

Have a wonderful Christmas and I will see you all in 2024!

  • The gift of singing!

    Mon 18 Dec 2023

On Friday Choir were invited to Dearcote Nursing home in Cheshunt. The residents enjoy welcoming the choir every year and it is always a Privilege to accept such an invite. We are always welcomed so kindly and this Christmas was no different. The choir sang amazingly well as always and the residents sang a long in strong voice. It was truly a special occasion to be a part of ,it really was the children gifting their Christmas voices to such special people. A Christmas gift only children can give.

  • YEAR 1 AND YEAR 2 CHRISTMAS NATIVITY

    Thu 14 Dec 2023

Year 2 and Year 1 performed their Christmas Nativity today. It was a truly incredible performance and one the children and adults have worked so hard to put together. A really beautiful story of the first Christmas.

  • Spanish Immersion day

    Mon 11 Dec 2023

Friday 8th December was a celebration of most things Spanish.

As you know we changed our MFL this academic year and after starting to learn Spanish in September we felt it would be fantastic to 'immerse' ourselves in all things Spanish. Mrs Direnzo spoke Spanish with all and made Spanish food. Miss Cicero danced with every class and WOW what a finale. We sang our hearts out to Feliz Navidad and danced our pasodobles.

It was a fantastic day !
